Following on from the Fad-Free Nutrition talk, the Supercharged Nutrition Masterclass is designed to enhance your knowledge of nutrition so you may "supercharge" your wellbeing.
It provides a more in-depth look at the latest scientific evidence on specific nutrition-related
 topics that make a big difference to overall health.

The talk will cover:
- Low-carb, plant-based, paleo - which approach is right for you?
- Meal frequency - how often should we really eat
- Harnessing the gut microbiome
- Boosting the immune system
- Supplements - what? why? when?

The talk is designed to equip you with the latest knowledge in nutrition in a fun an informal setting. Think less nutrition lecture, more a genuine chance to learn about what makes a difference to your health.

This event is held at my home in Mapperley, Nottingham, so there are only 10 spaces up for grabs. The smaller group means a relaxed atmosphere that will allow you to get more out of the session plus plenty of time for questions.

Most of us know that we should be eating a little bit healthier but with so many confusing recommendations, where do you start?
The Fad-Free Nutrition Masterclass is designed to break down the basics of good nutrition into realistic, easy to implement advice. (Yup, nutrition really shouldn't be complicated.)
Based on the latest science, the talk will take you through what actually matters when it comes to optimum long-term wellbeing.

You can expect to learn:
- why calories don’t count
- nutrient density & other tips to stay healthy without having to think about it
- what we know from the healthiest populations in the world
- tips & tricks to take away

You will leave with the knowledge to implement your health goals whether that’d be losing weight, having more energy or just becoming a little bit healthier.

Do Yoga & Wholefood Nutrition Workshop

DO Yoga and BANT registered nutritionist Eva Humphries have teamed up to bring you an indulgent day of Yoga and Nutrition. Join us for a day of yoga techniques and nutritional advice aimed at optimizing digestive wellbeing.

Good health starts in your gut.

We truly believe that to restore energy and vitality we really need to help restore the balance within the digestive system.

Starting the day, Do Yoga will guide you through a 60-minute Hatha style yoga practice specifically targeted at aiding digestion.

After a brief tea break, Eva will talk you through the principles of optimum nutrition and focus in on the science behind good digestive health.

You’ll have an hour to enjoy a freshly-prepared nutritious lunch then learn how to make your own healthy meals during a food demonstration.

To conclude the day DO Yoga will guide you through a 90-minute yoga nidra/yin yoga practice (meditation) that will help you to relax and unwind. Did you know that any stresses and anxieties you are experiencing will have a huge impact on your gut health?

This May I'm teaming up with the wonderful Rask to bring you an evening nutrition talk, healthy food and plenty of hygge. 
There will be goodie bags, tasty food and a chance to expand your knowledge of good nutrition.

The Nutrition Talk:
This 45-minute expert-led talk will focus on fad-free nutrition. 
We all know we should be eating a little bit better but what really counts when it comes to nutrition? Instead of nonsense or confusing recommendations, the focus is on real evidence-based advice that can actually change the way you feel and look. The talk is science-based but easy to understand, with the odd food-related joke thrown in.
You can expect to learn:
- why calories don’t count
- nutrient density & other tips to stay healthy without having to think about it
- what we know from the healthiest populations in the world
- tips & tricks to take away

The Food:
Rask bowls and energy balls will keep you nourished and staving off those hunger pangs following the talk. This year, my cookery demonstrations will focus on the 5 principles of great nutrition and feature a number of easy to make but nutritious dishes with the odd guilt-free treat thrown in.

This January I'm teaming up with the wonderful Folks and Fables to bring you the Sunday Brunch Club.
This exclusive event will combine a healthy, vegan, Sunday Brunch by the Folks and Fables with a nutrition talk and smoothie demo by me (Eva Humphries, the East Midlands' leading nutritional therapist).
There will be goodie bags, tasty food, a chance to expand your knowledge about nutrition and above all, you'll get to hang out with like-minded individuals.

Ludlow Food Festival

Ludlow Food Festival is the original and amongst the largest food festivals in the country.
Taking place inside the ruins of Ludlow Castle, the event brings together the best local food producers, chefs and experts.
