Food Shows & Country Fairs

I’ll be returning to the cookery demo theatre of a number of prestigious food & drink festivals and country fairs this year and I couldn’t be more excited.
Alongside being able to contribute to so many beautiful events, I’m also honoured to be representing two fantastic brands: Clarence Court and Kikkoman. Both companies share my ethos for slow, natural, production methods, resulting in the kind of great quality products that make a genuine difference.

2019 marks my 4th year of inspiring food show attendees with healthy dishes that taste good, are impressive and can actually be recreated at home. As usual, the focus will be on realistic nutrition but I’ll do my best to throw in the odd terrible joke.
There will be food to try, recipe cards and samples to take away so if you happen to be at one of the shows then come and say hi.
Here is where I’ll be:

Hardwick Hall Food Festival - 5th of May
Ely Food & Drink Festival - 6th of May

IBS Protocols

Good health starts in the gut.
Whether you are affected by irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) or just passionate about gut health, this talk is designed to equip you with the relevant knowledge for boosting the digestive system.

The gut is quite literally central to wellbeing, affecting:
- nutrient absorption
- energy
- the immune system
- the brain and mental health
- skin
- many others

Bloating, cramping, gas, irregular bowel movements and fatigue can all be signs of a compromised digestive system.
Don’t let tummy troubles stop you from living your life.
This talk will aim to teach you how to troubleshoot the gut by exploring topics such as:
- what is and isn’t normal when it comes to digestive health
- food intolerances and allergies
- the microbiome - think of this as a collection of good & bag bugs that live in the gut
- foods for gut health
- strategies for restoring digestive balance

The talk will be held at my home in Mapperley, Nottingham, so there are only 8 spaces up for grabs. The smaller group means a relaxed atmosphere that will let you get more out of the session plus plenty of time for questions.
