Quality sleep, nutrition and exercise are three fundamental pillars of wellbeing.
BUT statistically, we are very likely to experience sleep issues at one point during our adult life.
Let’s take a look at the fundamentals of sleep and how we may be able to improve it.

When I very first started studying nutrition, a fair few years ago, improving sleep was amongst the most important suggestions for wellbeing and a non-negotiable fundamental for overall health.
That’s because the quality and duration of our sleep is a major determinant of health.
Good quality sleep doesn’t just help us stay awake the following day, it quite literally helps to restore us.
Unfortunately, the vast majority of our existing recommendations for improving sleep are very surface-level.
Sure getting to bed at the same time every night could help and yes a dark room could assist us to get to sleep quicker but there is more to the picture of good quality sleep.

This talk explores science-backed food and lifestyle variables that may support good-quality, restorative sleep.
Whether you are struggling to sleep or just want to optimise your wellbeing, this 60-minute webinar led by clinical nutritionist Eva Humphries is designed to provide essential knowledge that is both realistic and actionable.
